Join the Crew.

Every Surfing for Farmers beach and every Rural Riders trail is made possible by people who simply wanted to lend a hand. Some coordinate a weekly event.

Some help on the barbecue. Some welcome first-timers, organise registrations or make sure everyone feels part of the crew. However they get involved, they’re helping create the kind of evenings that make a real difference for rural communities.

What it involves.

A couple of hours on the night. A bit of organising during the week, mostly texting your group and sorting the barbecue. A season that runs about fifteen weeks, November through to March.
Then it’s done until next year.

For Farmers handles the funding, the gear, the insurance and the paperwork. You bring the local knowledge and the good humour.

Keen to give it a go?

As For Farmers continues to grow, we’re always looking for good people who want to help others get off farm, have a crack at something new and head home feeling a little lighter.

If you’d like to get involved, fill out our form and tell us a bit about yourself. Let us know where you’re based, whether you’re interested in Surfing for Farmers or Rural Riders, and we’ll be in touch about volunteering opportunities in your area.

Powered by good people.

A board steering the organisation, a national team behind both programmes, and a local coordinator at every beach and every trail. That’s the crew you’d be joining.
